Lagardère Studios immortalized Paris during the confinement period.

Initiated by Atlantique Productions, this project was made possible thanks to the prefecture of police and the city hall of Paris as well as with the support of the Paris region group, TSF.

For two days, a team roamed the deserted streets of the capital with the help of a dolly car and filmed Paris without any cars, scooters or bicycles. The objective for Lagardère Studios was to preserve a cinematic trace of this historic event.

In all, there are 23 hours of rushes captured with 4 RED cameras - 4K format. These images will form an exclusive image bank to which government and cultural institutions will have free access. Commercial exploitation will be managed by Lagardère Studios Distribution and revenues will be donated to Assistance publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP HP).

All the participants in the project are based in Paris Region: TSF group provided the cameras, "Cascadeur Action", based in Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin (77), provided the dolly car. Nicolas Ploux, production manager, was accompanied by Chris Abomnes (cameraman) and his team for the filming and Eric Bassof ensured the post-production with the help of the company Labo Paris.
