Film Paris Region and Audiens jointly publish the Observatory of audiovisual and cinematographic production in Paris Region. According to the report published in 2019 :
5473 production and post-production companies were located in Paris Region in 2018, which represents 70% of the existing companies in the sector in France.
These companies include the largest producers of audiovisual and cinematographic content, as well as the best animation, post-production and visual effects studios.
